Welcome to Murray Hill Farm

Winter 2009/2010

The farm is still very busy, even though we are in deep winter mode.  We are very close to being sold out for our CSA for the upcoming season.  If you are interested in joining, we suggest you contact us soon.  Please see the link at the right for CSA information.

We are still selling eggs and honey during the winter and plan on
returning to Kamms Corners Indoor Farmers Market in May. At that time,
we should have the first pickings of asparagus, strawberries, lettuce
and salad greens.

Lambing time should be upon us soon.  We think at least three, and maybe five, of the Navajo-Churro ewes are pregnant.  Baby chicks will be arriving in late February and will be kept under heat lamps until April.  Our flock of heritage breed chickens will number close to 200 by then.
